Partnering to Help Small Businesses Grow and
Increase Cash Flow

Union Bank of California Alliance Program

In January of 1998, Union Bank of California (UBOC), in an effort to better serve its small business clients, formed an alliance with Primary Funding to assist UBOC's small business clients who might not otherwise qualify for the Bank's small business product line. The Alliance Program works to assist small businesses to get firmly incorporated and obtain a level of business maturity. At that time, UBOC may be able to provide additional financing for future ventures, and further assist the business in transitioning to the Bank's product line for the established business client. Through factoring, Primary Funding provides immediate cash for credit sales by purchasing the accounts receivable. This is an easy way to feed the cash flow cycle without creating debt. It also helps build capital in the business to satisfy the Bank's guidelines for future funding. Primary Funding serves all of Union Bank of California 's branches located in San Diego, Riverside and Bakersfield counties. Through the alliance between Primary Funding and Union Bank of California, small businesses can obtain the needed assistance to help their operations grow and mature.
